Yes - as long as we have reservations together, we can eat together in the specialty restaurants. While unlimited specialty dining is included in the princess premiere package, those without the package can absolutely still dine in the restaurants at a cost of $60 per person, per meal.

Yes! When taking a cruise, especially one that leaves internationally, it is always best to plan to arrive in the departure city at least 1 day prior to the day the ship leaves to allow for any unforeseen flight issues. In this case, we recommend planning your flights to arrive in Barcelona no later than Friday, April 24.

Less important that the arrival date, but in general, I would recommend not booking a flight out any earlier than 2pm on Saturday, May 2. This will allow time to disembark the ship, claim baggage, go through customs, arrange transport to the airport, check baggage, clear security and arrive at your gate. That said, this will not leave you any time to see Rome! If able, we recommend staying until at least Sunday, May 3 to be able to spend a night in Rome and then feel less rushed getting to the airport the next day.

Guests have multiple options to book excursions and activities for the trip. Prior to sailing, guests can log into princess.com account, manage their sailing, and select the 'shore excursions' option. This will display all available excursions offered through the cruise line. Guests can also book cruise line offered excursions once onboard the ship, but space may be limited and cost is typically higher when booked after departure. Additionally, we have chosen to book some of our excursions through the reputable company Shore Excursions Group. While not booked directly through the cruise line, the process is similar and comes with comparable guarantees and protections.
